The Anchor of Our Operations
We are unapologetically orthodox. The Christian Council is not a place for theological deconstruction or innovation. Our Statement of Faith represents the historic, biblical truths that have anchored genuine Christianity for millennia. Anyone serving as an Architect of the Witness must align with these core theological tenets in their entirety.
Our Theological Pillars
These seven tenets establish the boundaries of our operational unity. We do not demand uniformity on secondary theological issues, but on these primary doctrines of salvation, authority, and created order, we stand firm and unified.
Authority of Scripture
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and fully authoritative Word of God. It is our final standard in all matters of faith, morality, and practice.
The Triune God
There is one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power and glory.
Christ's Lordship and Redemptive Work
Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man. Through His perfect life, substitutionary death, and bodily resurrection, He accomplished redemption.
Total Depravity and Sovereign Grace
Humanity is radically fallen and unable to save itself. Salvation is entirely by God's sovereign grace, through faith in Christ alone.
The Church and the Great Commission
The universal Church is the body of Christ. Believers are commanded to gather locally and are tasked with making disciples of all nations.
Complementarian Design
Men and women are created equal in dignity and value, but designed by God with distinct, complementary roles in the home and the church.
Marriage and Human Sexuality
Marriage is ordained by God exclusively as the lifelong covenant between one biological man and one biological woman.
